As lockdown restrictions are eased further and the country takes more steps to return to normal, we'll be talking about 'Re-opening' - jumping from 3 months of 'crisis management' to having people back at work again, and what this really means for businesses as we adjust to a new way of working.
As we move into a new phase of the unprecedented crisis that we are all facing, our thoughts are beginning to turn to how businesses can prepare for life after Coronavirus and ensure they come back stronger than ever in a world that will undoubtedly look very different than before.
Over the coming weeks, we will be hosting a series of interactive digital workshops where, in conjunction with our specialist partners, we will address a range of essential issues that business leaders will be facing as they develop their lockdown exit strategies. In each workshop we will provide insight and advice from our expert speakers, but will also give participants the opportunity to share experiences and best practice in dealing with the inevitable leadership challenges and difficult decisions that will need to be made over the coming weeks.

Due to the initial success of the Firestarter Forums, we want to expand and develop them to help as many people as we can – using the technology available to us to break down traditional boundaries. In this series, we will host at least 5 sessions that are already planned, but we want them to be your Firestarter Forums, with themes, content and speakers that are really pertinent to this audience.
We are going to run some follow up Firestarter Friends’ Workshops for smaller groups after each Forum, including dedicated follow-up workshops with our expert speakers, giving participants the opportunity to address key topics and issues raised in more detail each week.
There will also be the opportunity to become friends and share ideas with a preferred group of people in our Firestarter Snugs. There’s no real agenda for these snugs, just a chance to share thoughts and challenges on a regular basis – what happens in the snug stays in the snug!
This all then leads us to the Firestarter Academy, which we will be launching in the next few weeks where you can learn valuable skills and techniques on topics such as sales skills, business planning, communications tactics, leadership, organisational structure, recruitment and more.
We’d love to make this a movement – so keep coming and ‘spread the word’.
